We are often asked how people can come help us. Because we work out of our homes, we don't have a volunteer staff.
However, if you want to do a two-year apprenticeship to become a licensed wildlife rehabber in our area of VA, we would be happy to help you do that. It's a BIG commitment and costly, so we want you to consider it carefully. Contact us.
There are many OTHER ways you can help us:
- You can give a monetary tax-deductible donation
- You can purchase items we need every day
- You can purchase big-ticket items we need
- If you love to drive, love animals and want to be on the front lines, let us know. We get calls sometimes, for animals who need our help, but we just can’t get away to go get them (when we have lots of bottle babies, for example). We can keep your name on a roster of folks available as transporters. Your mileage may be tax-deductible.
Monetary donations are always helpful, too!
We are NOT paid to do this work. All costs are out-of-pocket. If you would like to support us, all donations go 100% to help the animals. We are a nonprofit group, so all donations are tax-deductible to the extent that your tax situation allows.
